Round columns are best viewed from the front or the back. Unlike a square centerpiece where each flat panel faces a distinct direction, a cylinder curves continuously — which means a graphic that spans the full circumference will curve out of the viewer’s sightline on either side. To get the most impact from your artwork, we’ve learned that graphics read best when repeated twice within the template, with intentional spacing on either side of each repeat. This keeps your logo or message facing forward on both the front and back of the column, crisp and fully visible, rather than wrapping around to where it can’t be seen.

That said, columns aren’t only for logos and type. Large creative scenes — sweeping event photography, bold abstract patterns, dramatic full-coverage designs — can look absolutely stunning once illuminated. When the light comes up inside a 6-foot glowing column covered in a vivid photographic image, the effect is breathtaking. Each column kit consists of two foam core discs — one for the top and one for the bottom — and a large flat graphic panel with adhesive applied along the top edge, bottom edge, and the single vertical seam. Assembly is straightforward: wrap the graphic around the two discs, press the adhesive seams into place, and stand the column upright. Once assembled, simply place the column over your light source and it’s ready to glow.
The printed graphic is produced on high-quality backlit media that transmits light evenly and beautifully, bringing your artwork to life from within when illuminated.
